An Iconic Fall Paddle on the Hudson River
Come join our experienced guides for an iconic fall paddle on the Hudson! Cruise past the historic Tarrytown Lighthouse and learn the story behind the legend that makes this area so famous. As autumn leaves begin to turn, the conditions on the Hudson River remain safe for kayaking – the water is warm and the weather is pleasant! Our experienced guides will ensure that you remain safe and comfortable while inside our full-length sea kayaks. Jump in a Single Kayak for maximum adventure, or paddle a Double Kayak with a friend or loved one.
Before or after you paddle, you can enjoy The Village of Sleepy Hollow’s annual Oktoberfest in Kingsland Point park. It includes German food, beer, music, games and fun activities for the kids – a bouncy castle and ice cream truck. No admission fee, however parking rates apply.

Safety
Before heading out onto the water, your guide will go through basic kayaking tips and instructions.
What to bring
Prepare for a day at the beach → sunscreen, hat and water are all highly recommended
- Water shoes are encouraged
- We recommend that you do not bring personal items on the kayak.
Please note that dogs are not allowed to accompany you on the water during this tour.
Participation requirements
Tours are not geared toward younger children. Older children are welcome to participate when accompanied by an adult in a double kayak. To participate independently, the participant needs to be of adult size. For a more kid friendly experience, check out private options or our rental locations.
