Watch the Fireworks With Hudson River Recreation
This is one of the highlights of our year! There is no better place to view fireworks than from a kayak! Celebrate the anniversary of our nation’s independence with the sense of freedom found under the big sky on the Hudson River! That said, we like to celebrate. We offer this tour whenever we find fireworks that are viewable from the launches we utilize. Rye Playland has a weekly fireworks display every Friday from Independence Day to Labor Day, and our Rye Town Beach location offers an incredible on-water view of this long-standing summer tradition!
Each trip starts with basic kayaking and safety instruction. We will paddle around to practice our skills, enjoy a full-length guided kayak tour, watch the sunset, and find the best seats in the house to watch the firework displays. There will be time for a break before the fireworks begin, so feel free to stretch your legs or use the facilities – we will ensure that you don’t miss the show!
