Paddle With Us On The Croton River!
What better way to spend a warm summer day than on the beautiful Croton River? We offer rentals of recreational and light touring kayaks, canoes, and Stand Up Paddleboards (SUPs), all embarking from the Echo Canoe and Kayak Launch located at the southern end of the Croton-Harmon station area.
Croton River Rentals can be 1.5 hours or 2.5 hours in duration. Both single and tandem kayaks are available. Whether you’re a first-timer or a pro, our kayak and SUP rentals are the perfect way to get out and explore Croton River watershed.
No experience is necessary for recreational kayak, canoe or SUP rentals. We do not recommend touring kayak rentals for first-time kayakers.
All rentals must remain on the northeast side of the railroad bridge. Rentals are not permitted to paddle under the bridge into Croton Bay.
Unfortunately, low tide and low water levels have a significant impact on the paddling experience at the Croton River. Please consult local tide charts(opens in a new tab) and be aware of how water level forecasts may affect your trip.
*Fishing is permitted but please bring your own equipment and purchase your New York State Fishing Licence(opens in a new tab) in advance.
