The launch is located in the historic Playland Lake Boathouse, located within the Playland Amusement Park complex.
Enter through the main parking gates of Playland and proceed straight ahead, parking in the far (northern) end of the parking lot closest to Playland Lake.
Playland Park Parking fees apply. The regular daily parking rate is $20 per car. Up to date fees and advance purchase options here.
Anyone planning to visit frequently can purchase a season parking pass here.
Take the metro north train to Rye and then the bee-line bus to Playland. You can also take the bus directly from a variety of locations.
There are many food and drink options in Playland Park
Downtown Harrison & Rye are a short drive away and also provide many dining options.
Dogs are not allowed at Playland Lake. Please leave all dogs at home if you are joining us for a paddle here.
The launching of personal kayaks or SUPs is not allowed at Playland Lake. There is a nearby public launch point near Playland Park & Edith Read Wildlife Sanctuary.
Fishing is not allowed at Playland Lake.
