From Route 9, drive west on Croton Point Avenue. Follow signs for Croton Point Park. You will cross a long bridge over the railroad shop. Once on the other side, stay on that road for about a half a mile — do not turn until you have arrived at the entrance to the park.
After passing the entrance booth, immediately make a right on to the small side road just past the Main Office. Then make a left, through the opening in the wooden barrier, and park on the grass, along the fence. Our location is close by, on the beach — look for our flags and storage containers.
During the summer season, there is a $10 parking fee collected by Westchester County Parks. This fee is CASH ONLY, and ATMs are not conveniently located, so please don’t forget to bring cash!
Croton Point Park is a 15-to-20-minute walk from the Croton-Harmon train station, which is served by the Metro-North Railroad’s Hudson Line.
Dogs are permitted to join you on your boat at our Croton Point Park location. Please keep dogs leashed at all times and do not bring them on to the adjacent public swimming beach.
Personal watercraft may be launched at the north end of the beach area, directly adjacent to our location. There is a small parking lot to facilitate personal boat drop-0ff.
